In the 7thth minute of the game Jakub Lukowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Raycho Kaleev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakub Lukowski in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raycho Kaleev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raycho Kaleev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Lukowski in the 10th minute of play. The corner ended in Jerzy Plachetka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cup2's Raycho Kaleev did a great save. In the 16thth minute of the game Jakub Lukowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Raycho Kaleev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Cup2 defense, Wojciech Jajecznica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raycho Kaleev. The Cup2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raycho Kaleev should have stopped the shot. Thunderstorm Riders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koldo Sánchez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Krzysztof Skoroda advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 27th minute. Jerzy Plachetka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raycho Kaleev having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Thunderstorm Riders's Jerzy Plachetka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raycho Kaleev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cup2's zone, Wojciech Jajecznica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raycho Kaleev came out of the goal and Wojciech Jajecznica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Plachetka came free, but Raycho Kaleev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raycho Kaleev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Lukowski in the 41st minute of the match. Cup2's Raycho Kaleev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Plachetka in the 44th minute of play. Raycho Kaleev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Plachetka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krzysztof Skoroda made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Kasprzak in the 50th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Raycho Kaleev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakub Lukowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Raycho Kaleev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyprian Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeri Hadzhisotirov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Jerzy Plachetka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raycho Kaleev. Jerzy Plachetka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Jajecznica in the 61st minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Raycho Kaleev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raycho Kaleev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Lukowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raycho Kaleev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerzy Plachetka in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Cup2's goalkeeper Raycho Kaleev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Lukowski. Thunderstorm Riders's Draš Tič was substituted for Wojciech Jajecznica. If Krzysztof Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Thunderstorm Riders's Cyprian Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 87th minute of play. Raycho Kaleev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakub Lukowski in the 89th minute. When William Saliba fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cup2's protests and gave William Saliba a yellow card for diving instead. Raycho Kaleev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Tworek in the 91st minute. Jakub Lukowski scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raycho Kaleev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wieslaw Bury during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cup2 booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Bury didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Thunderstorm Riders supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thunderstorm Riders would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
