Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Durval Simões made the kick off which started today's match. 9 minutes into the game, Edson Mendes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natanael Sena. Edson Mendes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Natanael Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edson Mendes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Quintal came free, but Armel Zettiņš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Joel Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armel Zettiņš. Olivedos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Gernando Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Monumento Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Quintal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Simões in the 30th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armel Zettiņš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Passos in the 45th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monumento Sports's zone, Edson Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natanael Sena came out of the goal and Edson Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Gernando Quintal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Edson Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monumento Sports's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubinho de Sena was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Olivedos's Rubinho de Sena to fire away a dangerous shot which Natanael Sena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Augusto de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Augusto de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Carlos Augusto de Barros hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Vitinho Dionísio got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Rubinho de Sena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena didn't even have to move. Monumento Sports's Joel Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Joel Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Monumento Sports players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olivedos.
