A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Odol came free, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rostislav Sitarski got free with Tobias Reuters in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Charmander City's Gaspar Odol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Andon Traychev made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tzvetoslav Vúlchov immediately put the ball in play. Gaspar Odol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haralampi Kúrkelanov having to make a save. In the 25th minute Gaspar Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haralampi Kúrkelanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ger Branca in the 28th minute of the match. If Gaspar Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Odol came free, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Cheikha Fellahi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haralampi Kúrkelanov. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheikha Fellahi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gaspar Odol might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haralampi Kúrkelanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Odol ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Odol in the 37th minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Haralampi Kúrkelanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaspar Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Odol in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Gaspar Odol sped through VN SOKOLI-VARNA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haralampi Kúrkelanov.

A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Andon Traychev with Ilko Zvúncharov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gaspar Odol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haralampi Kúrkelanov having to make a save. Cheikha Fellahi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haralampi Kúrkelanov. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haralampi Kúrkelanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Golo Dolar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Golo Dolar in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haralampi Kúrkelanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Golo Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of VN SOKOLI-VARNA booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
