Cactos's Osvaldo Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Ahlroht in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTEMENTE's goalkeeper 吕瑜剑 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Gerber. After 10 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTEMENTE's Rameriz Soler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Rameriz Soler put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo Negri. In the 16th match minute, INDEPENDIENTEMENTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Netto to maneuver through the defense. INDEPENDIENTEMENTE's 吕瑜剑 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTEMENTE from getting a goal against them. Nayely Bernabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes INDEPENDIENTEMENTE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luiz Hermes who took care of the corner kick. 32 minutes into the match, Cactos's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Ahlroht came free, but Osvaldo Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Leite struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. 吕瑜剑 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cactos. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rameriz Soler was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Rameriz Soler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of Cactos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of INDEPENDIENTEMENTE:s goal. 吕瑜剑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Leite in the 99th minute of play. Osvaldo Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Ahlroht in the 100th minute of play. INDEPENDIENTEMENTE played a much better game than Cactos and deserved their victory. The Cactos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
