Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Jens Bohlin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabio Cirelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Alex Lidström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Lidström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Vaiani. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Aurelio Barresi managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Barresi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Bohlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reine Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Felice Fantozzi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Felice Fantozzi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jens Bohlin to make any attempt to save it. Jens Bohlin stood somewhat misplaced when Felice Fantozzi came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Felice Fantozzi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jens Bohlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Köping's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Aurelio Barresi scored to the left of an out of position Jens Bohlin, making the score, 3-0. After 35 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Di Fazio. Laurendi Varandalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlo Cirone. AC Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Jens Bohlin managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when AC Roma's Felice Fantozzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlo Cirone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Lidström in the 39th minute of the match. Jens Bohlin made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Felice Fantozzi sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Brander hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Roma's Aurelio Barresi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens Bohlin. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felice Fantozzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Lidström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Carlo Cirone made a huge save. Carlo Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Brander in the 54th minute of play. Jens Bohlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Barresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Köping's Jens Bohlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Barresi in the 61st minute of play. Adrian Brander was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Köping's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 67 minutes into the game, Anthony Di Gregorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Roma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köping the free kick. In the 68th minute, Anthony Di Gregorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Lidström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andréas Ersman fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köping's protests and gave Andréas Ersman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Roma's Aurelio Barresi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Lidström got free with Carlo Cirone in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Carlo Cirone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 94 minutes into the game, Adrian Brander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlo Cirone. Adrian Brander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. AC Roma were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Köping for a fine match.
