When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bryce Paull sped through Vampiros Aztecas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Evangelista. 21 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Bryce Paull came free, but Marco Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Teo Lon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Powderham. Darwin Saville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Lon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Lon in the 30th minute of play forced Darwin Saville FC's goalkeeper Philip Powderham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darwin Saville FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when Darwin Saville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Bowman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryce Paull in the 39th minute of the match. Darwin Saville FC's Philip Powderham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Lon in the 41st minute of play. Philip Powderham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Vampiros Aztecas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Navarro Reiter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Teo Lon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philip Powderham. The goal made the score 1-3. Navarro Reiter hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Darwin Saville FC got a freekick which was hit by Raleigh Clack. Darwin Saville FC's Philip Powderham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Darwin Saville FC from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, Nathan Bowman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darwin Saville FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vampiros Aztecas the free kick. Silvestre Ostotss short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Philip Powderham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Christopher Mckinnes put in a rough tackle. Philip Powderham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Ostots in the 99th minute of play. After 100 minutes Darwin Saville FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joakim Rhinow who took care of the corner kick. Vampiros Aztecas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
