In the 2nd minute Luís Gustavo Urbano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Guntademaro Goyenechea hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Tuñon came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guntademaro Goyenechea succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Adam Ansola kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Natã dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Teofan Bozadzhiyski came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Sobis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Rolf Holmgren made a huge save. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Dowdall in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Rafael Sobis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolf Holmgren. Rafael Sobis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 35th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Tuñon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Clemente Tuñon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Tuñon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teofan Bozadzhiyski who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Tiago Moraes got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guntademaro Goyenechea to strike the kick off in the second half. Betão Quirino hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Clemente Tuñon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Sobis in the 55th minute of play. Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Clemente Tuñon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dowdall in the 64th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rolf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Dowdall in the 78th minute of play. Daniel Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rolf Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella was substituted for Clemente Tuñon. 86 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Dowdall came free, but Rolf Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
