After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Justo Paublo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fabricio Lorencio hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Sobis came free, but Isidoro Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match, Felix Gines tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilson do Vale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 9 minutes into the game, Felix Gines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nilson do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidoro Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Sobis in the 21st minute of play. Billy Dowdall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isidoro Dolfos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Dowdall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Dolfos having to interfere. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Benedicto Chale tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Remigio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Almirante Brown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandelocos the free kick. Isidoro Dolfos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandelocos. The referee ignored Club Almirante Brown's protests and gave Benedicto Chale a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Dowdall in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Billy Dowdall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Dolfos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Billy Dowdall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Dolfos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 46 minutes into the game, Benedicto Chale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilson do Vale. Benedicto Chale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Gines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Ezequiel Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandelocos's protests and gave Ezequiel Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Dolfos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Brasil in the 68th minute. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Gines in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Chale in the 73rd minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Almirante Brown's Wilfredo Segio was substituted for Felix Gines. In the 76th minute Club Almirante Brown were awarded a corner. Fabricio Lorencio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fabricio Lorencio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale did a great save. Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Chale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute of the match Club Almirante Brown got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabricio Lorencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Almirante Brown's Wilfredo Segio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nilson do Vale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bandelocos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Almirante Brown.
