With his leg Benedicto Iago managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when DALO S.C.'s Loco Alves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Loco Alves hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Benitez came free, but Evaristo Txartiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DALO S.C.'s Evaristo Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Vachon in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Braulio Perrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Txartiko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Putte von der Putten in the 29th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ruidio took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Iago. Benedicto Iago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Leo Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Cristobal Bernal got a free kick in the 44th minute. Benedicto Iago made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Loco Alves sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Uchiha was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Ruidio's late challenge caught a Defensores de Mar de Ajó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Ruidio helped the player get up and apologised. If Wilmer Canive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Uchiha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Alves in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Mauro Uchiha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Putte von der Putten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Iago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilmer Canive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benedicto Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Txartiko made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Salvador Benitez sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Loco Alves put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benedicto Iago. Mauro Uchiha struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Evaristo Txartiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Mar de Ajó. When Leo Ledesma fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Mar de Ajó's protests and gave Leo Ledesma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Leo Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Perrando to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Mauro Uchiha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores de Mar de Ajó had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
