Spams's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Escobar to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Sherlock Holmes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. Sherlock Holmes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alfredo Mino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Montenegro. Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Spams's Carolo Nardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute Alfredinho Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Nardo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Carolo Nardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Montenegro was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Spams's attentive Song Cheng Hong managed to snatch the ball when Raimundo Abraão made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Larsfelt in the 35th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Spams got a corner. Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Mino ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Kasper Larsfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spams's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Larsfelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abderaouf Bensaoula kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Spams's Tin Delgado was substituted for Kasper Larsfelt. Spams made a substitution. Armando Franco replaced Carolo Nardo. Spams's Michel De Bruyne was substituted for Alto Jering. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tin Delgado was the one to do the kick off. Vágner Proença hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro got control of the ball when Tin Delgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michel De Bruyne might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel De Bruyne ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Spams's Tin Delgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Tin Delgado hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Tin Delgado scored to the left of an out of position Michel Montenegro, making the score, 0-4. 70 minutes into the match, Tin Delgado notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro. Michel Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Tin Delgado sped through Maverick Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Montenegro. Michel Montenegro was a little too slow when Tin Delgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-7. Vágner Proença hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Tin Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel De Bruyne in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Tin Delgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Tin Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
