An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Cardetti in the 3rd minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Cássio Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the S.C. Corinthians Paulista defense, Martin Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Aparecido. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Aparecido should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Tulio came free, but Cássio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu de Barros made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hamílton Mota however managed to control. In the 12th minute, Martín Cardetti made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Aparecido. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 15thth minute of the game Martín Cardetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Cássio Aparecido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Martín Cardetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Aparecido. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martín Cardetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Corinthians Paulista's Cássio Aparecido. Cássio Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martín Cardetti scored 0-9 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Tulio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Cássio Aparecido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Palermo made a kick off. Cássio Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Palermo in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Cardetti in the 53rd minute of play forced S.C. Cássio Aparecido was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Palermo got free with Cássio Aparecido in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guga Goiano's late challenge caught a T€Tra brick FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guga Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. Guga Goiano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Luís Fábio Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Aparecido, making the score, 0-14. Cássio Aparecido came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by T€Tra brick FC's Luís Fábio Cunha. But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. The crowd rose to their feet as T€Tra brick FC's Luís Fábio Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cássio Aparecido. That made the score 0-16 after 79 minutes of play. The T€Tra brick FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when T€Tra brick FC's Luís Fábio Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-17 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cássio Aparecido was a little too slow when Luís Fábio Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-18. In the 92nd minute, Ermegildo Tulio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Aparecido was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-19. After having played for 96 minutes, Luís Fábio Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T€Tra brick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
