Rodolfo Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Checa in the 17th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Pedrão Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Higinio Romano in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vista Alegre FC's Wiliam Velloso. In the 26th minute, Dionisio Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Vista Alegre FC's Antônio Carlos Vander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cauan Marinho hit a great ball. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Rodas in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Prudencio Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Norberto de Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Virgilio Rocendo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ambrosio Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Volvio Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Mano. Virgilio Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto de Azevedo in the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Matias Checa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrão Sarmento was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Norberto de Azevedo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Volvio Moreno's Remigio Santiago shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedrão Sarmento but with some difficulty. Volvio Moreno's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
