To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Benigno Froila put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roch Dudkowski. In the 21st match minute, Várdomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Tábori to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Benigno Froila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roch Dudkowski. Várdomb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Froila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 41st minute, Várdomb's Mátyás Benke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Froila in the 46th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Roch Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Várdomb players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Águilas Poblanas were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Rómeó Szakály made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Várdomb's zone, Saturnino Venceslas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Dudkowski came out of the goal and Saturnino Venceslas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Stephen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lajos Kossuth's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Benigno Froila made a precise shot to the right of Roch Dudkowski. Várdomb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Venceslas in the 65th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Roch Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mátyás Benke in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Stephen saved Águilas Poblanas from getting behind. Águilas Poblanas's Marcial Mannie was substituted for Roberto Mateus. Várdomb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bálint Tulipán in the 72nd minute. Fabricio Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rómeó Szakály, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rómeó Szakály in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Bálint Tulipán cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Fabricio Stephen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 83 minutes of play, Várdomb's Mátyás Benke made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Stephen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Froila to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Várdomb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Tábori didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Saturnino Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roch Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Várdomb were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
