In the 8thth minute of the game Pedrão Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Artetas artilleri's David Raya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Ramalho. After a rather tough play, Artetas artilleri's Kai Havertz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Eusébio Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. David Raya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Pedrão Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrão Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but David Raya made a huge save. Orlando Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ødegaard in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Kai Havertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Hoffmann came free, but David Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper David Raya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão Cardoso. In the 36thth minute of the game Pedrão Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Artetas artilleri's David Raya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Hoffmann in the 39th minute of play forced Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper David Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takehiro Tomiyasu charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Takehiro Tomiyasu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrão Hoffmann to make the kick off. When Dorian Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Dorian Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Durval Tinoco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Jakub Kiwior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artetas artilleri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Kiwior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Hoffmann came free, but David Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Artetas artilleri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Ødegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Raya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Hoffmann in the 66th minute of play. Montesclarense E.C.'s Orlando Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Havertz in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Ricardo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Pedrão Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Raya. Artetas artilleri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrão Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 76th minute, Pedrão Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Dante made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gabriel Martinelli sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Hoffmann came free, but David Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorian Lopez in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Raya saved Artetas artilleri from getting behind. After 92 played minutes Artetas artilleri got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Kiwior. David Raya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Hoffmann went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montesclarense E.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Artetas artilleri had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
