Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Gencal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Melchor Rosio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Yaşar Akbuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot. HORIZZONT's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaşar Akbuğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Damián Šilha replaced Benigno Eriz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Bixintxo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Elpidio Bixintxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elpidio Bixintxo was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting de Gijón's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Marcos-Alberto Rojo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but HORIZZONT's Yuan Ying did a great save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. HORIZZONT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
