Jan-Ove Håning might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Ove Håning ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Håning tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Giménez went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Matías Giménez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Teodoro Meireles to make any attempt to save it. Teodoro Meireles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Ove Håning showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Edvard Klemensson fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hackspett U21's protests and gave Edvard Klemensson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Edvard Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jan-Ove Håning took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Teodoro Meireles to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Håning tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when João Francisco Leal put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Bandeirinha AD getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Francisco Leal hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Jan-Ove Håning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Håning in the 41st minute of play. Teodoro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Klemensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute FC Hackspett U21 were awarded a corner. Edvard Klemensson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bandeirinha AD's goalie and right to Alvin Brenner. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bandeirinha AD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Brenner to make the kick off. Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Håning in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Brenner. The long shot by Renatinho Reis in the 55th minute really tested Tony Henriksson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Ramiro Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandeirinha AD's protests and gave Ramiro Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Bandeirinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Coutinho. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Edvard Klemensson hit a great ball. Edvard Klemensson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Falcão Gaspar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Henriksson skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Bandeirinha AD booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Hackspett U21's Ruben Pirro was substituted for Well-Well Wing. 83 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Håning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Teodoro Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Håning in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ove Håning in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jan-Ove Håning put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Meireles. Jan-Ove Håning might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Ove Håning ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodoro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jan-Ove Håning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Meireles was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the FC Hackspett U21 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
