A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. João Paulo de Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Evaristo Omero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira didn't even have to move. 7 minutes into the game, João Paulo de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papunhas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TORQUE F.C. the free kick. João Paulo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Artur do Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blas Roldanillo. The goal made the score 1-0. If Ismael Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo de Carvalho was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Ruy Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Hernando in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Manilan in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Oliveira saved Papunhas EC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, TORQUE F.C.'s Ismael Manilan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Ismael Manilan made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ruy Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when TORQUE F.C.'s Elvio Gaufred fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 52 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Aparecido. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruy Oliveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
