Karol Niemojewski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Feliks Bury made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Stanislav Miškić sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Pawel Tarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Karol Niemojewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo did a great save. Elder de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Tarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zachary Parzysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Olimpia Koło's Gilbert Niewiadomski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Bruno Šimunko came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Šimunko couldn't finish the play. Elder de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Tarka in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Olimpia Koło were awarded a corner. Karol Niemojewski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Karol Niemojewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Tarka in the 58th minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Elder de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting a goal against them. Elder de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliks Bury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Šimunko, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Bruno Šimunko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliks Bury. Olimpia Koło's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Šimunko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Feliks Bury came out of the goal and Ibrica Madunić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Parzysz came free, but Feliks Bury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Karol Niemojewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Parzysz in the 91st minute of play forced Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Feliks Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Franciszek Mruk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpia Koło's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ the free kick. A collision led to Olimpia Koło getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
