Leal Valido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Nouvelle Vague's Lucio Caetano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leal Valido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute Feliberto Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Valido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Nouvelle Vague were awarded a corner. Alfredo Tripodi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Nouvelle Vague's Feliberto Unai to a score. 0-2 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serkan Günden got free with Gualterio Socorro in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Gabriel Neiva got a free kick in the 28th minute. Lucio Caetano took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Valido. Leal Valido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 37 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Indalecio. After 40 minutes of play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Serkan Günden made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Socorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Feliberto Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Feliberto Unai made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th play minute Lucio Caetano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leal Valido. 1-4. With an all-out effort, Nouvelle Vague's Leal Valido threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Unai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that 乔义竞's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Socorro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 68 minutes, Gabi March mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA COSA NOSTRA and the Nouvelle Vague players grew even worse after the yellow card.
