After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Miguel Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Academia Serengetti's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Borja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chivos's Jacobo Deunoro got a free kick in the 79th minute. Albano Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 80th minute of play. Vladimiro Pirro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Garoa's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Chivos were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Real Academia Serengetti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ubaldo Oinatz took the corner. Vladimiro Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chivos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
