An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Iruinea in the 8th minute of play forced LiverBird Flyers FC's goalkeeper Joel Sim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Florentino Piarres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LiverBird Flyers FC's Joel Sim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Forest Green from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Fabio Totakoxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. LiverBird Flyers FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Forest Green's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shukrie Low took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Forest Green's goalie and right to Gicu Vacarciuc. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Forest Green's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. LiverBird Flyers FC's Joel Sim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Piarres in the 21st minute of play. Fabio Totakoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asiz Paine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LiverBird Flyers FC booed when Forest Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Iruinea in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Sim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Forest Green from getting a goal against them. Shahron Au hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Asiz Leng in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Totakoxe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Iruinea in the 36th minute of play forced LiverBird Flyers FC's goalkeeper Joel Sim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forest Green's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Asiz Paine 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Joel Sim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Piarres in the 43rd minute of play. If Azly Chee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Forest Green's goalkeeper Fabio Totakoxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asiz Leng. Natalio Panpili kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Asiz Paine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Fabio Totakoxe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, LiverBird Flyers FC's Joel Sim got control of the ball when Florentino Piarres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Sim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Iruinea in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Asiz Leng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Paine in the 66th minute of play. After 68th play minutes Asiz Paine shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Fabio Totakoxe and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 71st match minute, LiverBird Flyers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azly Chee to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Aresti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Sim. LiverBird Flyers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, LiverBird Flyers FC's Azly Chee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Totakoxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 78thth minute of the game Asiz Paine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Asiz Paine notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe. Fabio Totakoxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, LiverBird Flyers FC's Joel Sim got control of the ball when Sixto Isusko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 played minutes, Forest Green's Sixto Isusko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Sim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Forest Green reached it. 91 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Piarres came free, but Joel Sim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Sim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Ambrosio Dalmu put in a rough tackle. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Forest Green! Fabio Totakoxe had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Shukrie Low's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. LiverBird Flyers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
