Patricio Donio scored 3-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Sim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Sim made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Patricio Donio sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Tigres Ñacuñán FC were awarded a corner. Roque Kauldi went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Sim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match, Roque Kauldi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Sim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the game, Gaston Koldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Joel Sim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Gaston Koldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Sim. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Afriz Dhanabalan made the kick off in the second half. Joel Sim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Santos in the 53rd minute of the match.
