Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Sandy Spaulding started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's Lluciano Puyol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Fillol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Ubaldo Fillol got control of the ball when Dennis Stratton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xu Yun Quan might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pirro Blazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Yun Quan ran back to his position shaking his head. Pirro Blazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yun Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Dennis Stratton put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Fillol. Xu Yun Quan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xu Yun Quan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pirro Blazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Yun Quan in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pirro Blazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Iron Maiden FC defense, Sandy Spaulding kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pirro Blazquez. The Iron Maiden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pirro Blazquez should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Yun Quan came free, but Pirro Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Yun Quan in the 43rd minute of play forced Iron Maiden FC's goalkeeper Pirro Blazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Flint Prince almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Iron Maiden FC's Pirro Blazquez did a great save. Ubaldo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Iron Maiden FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. Independiente were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Angus Young made the kick off in the second half. Pirro Blazquez was out of position in the 50 minute of play, and Xu Yun Quan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xu Yun Quan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Stratton in the 54th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Dennis Stratton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Iron Maiden FC's zone, Xu Yun Quan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pirro Blazquez came out of the goal and Xu Yun Quan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Stratton in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Flint Prince. Xu Yun Quan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pirro Blazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Yun Quan ran back to his position shaking his head. Pirro Blazquez made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Xu Yun Quan sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Stratton came free, but Ubaldo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Fillol came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Iron Maiden FC's Dennis Stratton. But to his dismay, Dennis Stratton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angus Young in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Fillol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pirro Blazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 91st minute of play. If Xu Yun Quan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Iron Maiden FC's Pirro Blazquez got control of the ball when Xu Yun Quan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Iron Maiden FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C. A. Independiente's performance. The match ended with a win for C. A. Independiente.
