In the 5th minute Marcelo Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Tebaldo's late challenge caught a Nevşehirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Tebaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Santo Tebaldo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Nevşehirspor's Ragnar Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Manuelo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Baltasar Frasquito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Rıdvan Kurushov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silverio Cordara. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Ragnar Åberg struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Silverio Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevşehirspor. After 32 minutes of play, Nevşehirspor's Ragnar Åberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Åberg in the 35th minute of play. Baltasar Frasquito did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Silverio Cordara 37 minutes into the match. Silverio Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıdvan Kurushov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Cordara didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nevşehirspor's Ragnar Åberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Silverio Cordara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ragnar Åberg in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Miro made a kick off. A collision led to Nevşehirspor getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eustacio Firmo scored 10-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Cordara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Eustacio Firmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nevşehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. When Rıdvan Kurushov came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Nevşehirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rıdvan Kurushov couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's Eustacio Firmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Cordara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nevşehirspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
