After 11 minutes, Lennart Dujardin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fox Hunting Squad and the Passa o Tanque MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lennart Dujardin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fox Hunting Squad's Mats Van Elsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Fox Hunting Squad from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Oliveiro got free with Mats Van Elsen in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Balthazar in the 26th minute of play. Fox Hunting Squad's Mats Van Elsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Torres in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Fox Hunting Squad's Mats Van Elsen got control of the ball when Roque Oliveiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Oliveiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Mats Van Elsen made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilmar Torres to strike the kick off in the second half.
