Piearres Somiedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Alberto Ridding when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Piearres Somiedos short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Alberto Ridding to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bern Norman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Emilio Alberete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Buceo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Alberete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sporting Buceo fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vachon Camaño charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vachon Camaño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vachon Camaño hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Adelaide's Alberto Ridding played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Somiedo in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rene Calleja hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goalkeeper Alberto Ridding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piearres Somiedo. Emilio Alberete kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Adelaide's Alberto Ridding proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Adelaide from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Piearres Somiedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Ridding was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The wind increased when Piearres Somiedo made the kick off in the second half. In the 92nd minute Nardo Tuo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Ridding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goal looked a bit too open when Nardo Tuo came free, but Alberto Ridding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nardo Tuo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Buceo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
