Daniele Salomone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Ove Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Salomone having to interfere. If Fabiano Mattei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Mats Groth made a precise shot to the right of Daniele Salomone. Villa di Molvena FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 43 minutes, Alex Bravo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa di Molvena FC and the Guldsmedshyttan IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Alex Bravo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Di Paola charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Di Paola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Groth to strike the kick off in the second half. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Bravo in the 51st minute of play. Flavio Di Paola was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the last second Daniele Salomone throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mats Groth in the 59thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Villa di Molvena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Groth came free, but Daniele Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Salomone having to interfere. Anfilogino Di Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Christer Utter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Villa di Molvena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Groth came free, but Daniele Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Villa di Molvena FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Armin Campese hit a great ball. The Villa di Molvena FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guldsmedshyttan IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
