In the 7th minute, Albano Oro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Sérgio Goycochea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sérgio Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Checchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Acilia Town's Amedeo Chizzo got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Amedeo Chizzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes, Amancio Ignatius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ and the Acilia Town players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Diana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Sérgio Goycochea made a huge save. A collision led to Acilia Town getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cristiano Falone hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Acilia Town's Alberto Diana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Villa got free with Sérgio Goycochea in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Albano Oro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Scannella was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Santos Leoiar's late challenge caught a Acilia Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Leoiar helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Santos Leoiar. Alessandro Checchia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sérgio Goycochea made a huge save. Acilia Town made a substitution. Felice Burgnich replaced Aldo De Cesaris. In the 49th minute of the match ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a corner. Acilia Town's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Harkaitz ran over to the corner to take the kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Oro made a kick off. Dario Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Scannella having to interfere. Alberto Diana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Amedeo Chizzo made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Santos Leoiar. 82 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Villa came free, but Sérgio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Scannella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Acilia Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Chizzo to maneuver through the defense. When Albano Oro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Oro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Acilia Town's Aurelio Corvasce got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Acilia Town walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
