Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narcis Agachi started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Isdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ku Kost IL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexandru Săvulescu was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's corner Alexandru Săvulescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hans-Erik Isdal quite easily take care of the ball. Bertel Elden charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertel Elden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ku Kost IL:s Hans-Erik Isdal showed great skill when he stopped Alexandru Săvulescu:s penalty. With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț got control of the ball when Tage Liland tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Agachi came free, but Hans-Erik Isdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcis Agachi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Narcis Agachi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Narcis Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Erik Isdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Agachi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans-Erik Isdal saved Ku Kost IL from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Agachi in the 37th minute of play forced Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Isdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Narcis Agachi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hans-Erik Isdal. Alexandru Săvulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hans-Erik Isdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Erik Isdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narcis Agachi's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Gigel Bulgar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans-Erik Isdal. Ku Kost IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Bulgar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Ku Kost IL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjetil Christoffersen made a kick off. 57 minutes in the game, Narcis Agachi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Narcis Agachi let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 60th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Agachi in the 64th minute of play forced Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Isdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Narcis Agachi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alexandru Săvulescu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Săvulescu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjetil Christoffersen during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjetil Christoffersen hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ku Kost IL's Mikkel Sikveland got a free kick in the 76th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Erik Isdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Agachi in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans-Erik Isdal saved Ku Kost IL from getting behind. Hans-Erik Isdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Agachi in the 93rd minute of play.
