Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gică Boerescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Nelsinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eugeniusz Kostrzewa hit a great ball. With a little luck, Alex Team's Iacob Nistor got control of the ball when Nelsinho Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Bodiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornel Bodiu scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Iacob Nistor managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when São José City - FSCMZ's Roger Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cornel Bodiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hélder Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Toledo came free, but Iacob Nistor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Cornel Bodiu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo. Hélder Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornel Bodiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Severo having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Marin Cantemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as São José City - FSCMZ's Roger Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iacob Nistor. That made the score 1-2 after 40 minutes of play. Nelsinho Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Iacob Nistor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 47 minutes, Niculae Ştercă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alex Team and the São José City - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Roger Costa made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Costa came free, but Iacob Nistor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Boerescu in the 59th minute of play forced São José City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Hélder Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gică Boerescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélder Severo. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. If Nelsinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Boerescu in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Alex Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Cantemir to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Nelsinho Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Gică Boerescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The São José City - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alex Team's performance. The match ended with a win for Alex Team.
