Åsnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Koolkerke the free kick. Snorre Fonn kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The coaching staff of Åsnes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Martin Rustad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakob Viskens got free with Christer Waaler in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's Matthy Verlinden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christer Waaler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Dhondt in the 88th minute of the match.
