Väderstad FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Genaro Arlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Patanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Väderstad FK the free kick. In the 8th minute, Genaro Arlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Väderstad FK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sigvard Runberg hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Santiago Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Väderstad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tulio came free, but Claes Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 20 minutes on the clock, Gunnar Emander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Väderstad FK! Serafino Lehior shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Los Patanes booed when Väderstad FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Forss came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Patanes's Santiago Ieltxu. But to his dismay, Santiago Ieltxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Claes Forss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, Los Patanes's Florin Panțâru made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Forss was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Florin Panțâru put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Claes Forss. In the 36th minute, Börje Pilgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Florin Panțâru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Patanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Panțâru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Forss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Los Patanes's Arnaldo Munio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Forss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Los Patanes were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Erserman made a kick off. Claes Forss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafin Chico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 52 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Alfredo Tulio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claes Forss, 0-7. 61 minutes into the match, Väderstad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Chico came free, but Claes Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Panțâru in the 65th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Knut Bäckman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Ieltxu got free with Claes Forss in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Munio in the 74th minute of the match. Claes Forss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florin Panțâru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 77 minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Florin Panțâru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arnaldo Munio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Väderstad FK's Claes Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Chico in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Linus Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väderstad FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Erserman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Väderstad FK's Claes Forss got control of the ball when Florin Panțâru tried to sneak it across the goal line.
