With his leg Valter Holmgren managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Locomotiva grena's Giovanni Prata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Fernandez in the 35th minute of play. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save MDV Mount Eaver from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Holmgren having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Locomotiva grena's Hílton Fernandez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valter Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hílton Fernandez made a kick off. Valter Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Osvaldo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Locomotiva grena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Prata to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind MDV Mount Eaver's goalkeeper Valter Holmgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Soares in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Hílton Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Locomotiva grena's Hílton Fernandez in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Soares came free, but Valter Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni Prata's late challenge caught a MDV Mount Eaver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Prata helped the player get up and apologised. Giovanni Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Fernandez in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Fernandez in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valter Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hílton Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Locomotiva grena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Fernandez couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hílton Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locomotiva grena's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorian Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Nordström in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes, Hílton Fernandez made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Hílton Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valter Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Locomotiva grena's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
