Juste Gilmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Rijmenans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilburn Eason in the 8th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Angelo Stoffels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Beverpatrouille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLAYMORE COUNTRY the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilburn Eason to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Wilburn Eason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Bob Leckie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Leckie in the 64th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wilburn Eason sped through De Beverpatrouille's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Loui Volens. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Terrell Tipton was substituted for Donny Dougherty. Loui Volens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Leckie, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Beverpatrouille's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Lapurdi was slow to take the kick. During this time CLAYMORE COUNTRY's players had a chance to rest. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Leo Lapurdi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loui Volens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rocco Duffet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loui Volens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
