After a rather tough play, MORCY Saint Germain's Mickaël Kuntz got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind MORCY Saint Germain's goalkeeper Roger Venot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Venot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Avram in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of MORCY Saint Germain booed when FC Izesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Stelaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. MORCY Saint Germain's Roger Venot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Avram in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, MORCY Saint Germain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickaël Kuntz to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Laurențiu Avram got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Valeriu Miulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Izesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MORCY Saint Germain the free kick. A collision led to FC Izesti getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Valeriu Miulescu hit a great ball. FC Izesti's Antoni Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivien Thibaut in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Philippe Mari to make the kick off. Roger Venot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Doloman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viorel Doloman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Venot came out and tried to block the shot, but Viorel Doloman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. After 59 played minutes MORCY Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Philippe Mari. The supporters of MORCY Saint Germain booed when FC Izesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Doloman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Jean-Philippe Mari made a precise shot to the right of Antoni Osielski. FC Izesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, MORCY Saint Germain's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Doloman came free, but Roger Venot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Nicu Biriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, MORCY Saint Germain's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Doloman came free, but Roger Venot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Horaţiu Onaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, FC Izesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vivien Thibaut came free, but Antoni Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Laurențiu Avram from a close distance when the talented Roger Venot managed to make a qualified save. MORCY Saint Germain's players were relieved. The FC Izesti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Izesti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
