He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merceron United reached it. Dario Gelsomini came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by PicksBattle.com's Roger Flor. But to his dismay, Roger Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jurand Wykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dario Gelsomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Fotis Venizelos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini. Dario Gelsomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merceron United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Cavallucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Ferran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Pasquino. After a defensive mix-up in Merceron United's zone, Telis Ntavelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Gelsomini came out of the goal and Telis Ntavelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Merceron United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PicksBattle.com were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Roger Flor made the kick off in the second half. Dario Gelsomini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Flor in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Federico Del Giudice got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Telis Ntavelis struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Roger Flor took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Dario Gelsomini to make any attempt to save it. After 80 minutes, Alex De Toni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merceron United and the PicksBattle.com players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Alex De Toni got a free kick in the 80th minute. Giannis Papadamakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Dario Gelsomini made a huge save. David Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Marcantonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Roger Flor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Gelsomini. Merceron United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Flor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Fotis Venizelos struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Dario Gelsomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PicksBattle.com. PicksBattle.com played a much better game than Merceron United and deserved their victory. The Merceron United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
