Mugurel Puișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Meira in the 10th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Pedro Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mugurel Puișoru having to make a save. The Spartak das Kaldas fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Spartak das Kaldas's Pedro Meira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Pedro Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Puișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Meira in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Puișoru saved Cavalerii Viola from getting behind. Cavalerii Viola's Ahmet İlke Develi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cavalerii Viola's Remus Vrejiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angélico Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angélico Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Zăraşcu in the 57th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Spartak das Kaldas's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Develi came free, but Angélico Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Henrique Júdice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugurel Puișoru made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Pedro Meira sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Meira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Mugurel Puișoru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 79th minute of the match Xavier Zarco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Puișoru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Spartak das Kaldas's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Bognar came free, but Angélico Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Casado's late challenge caught a Cavalerii Viola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Casado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Spartak das Kaldas getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Edgar Casado hit a great ball.
