Salim Adas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Arlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Adas having to make a save. Jose Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Jose Arlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salim Adas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Arlo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Arlo got free with Salim Adas in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Arlos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Salim Adas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 36th play minutes Jose Arlo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Salim Adas and just under the crossbar into goal. Salim Adas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Váldson Moreira in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Estefan was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's Carlinhos Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salim Adas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Arlo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salim Adas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52nd match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Honesto to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Real Fantasma's Jose Arlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salim Adas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Salim Adas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Fantasma were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after De Boedo Vengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Váldson Moreira took the corner. Rodriguinho do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Salim Adas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Jobo made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fulgencio Lalla however managed to control. 63 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Arlo came free, but Salim Adas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Honesto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Salim Adas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salim Adas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Arlo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Real Fantasma made a substitution. Silvério Medeiros replaced Sydney Gomes. 80 minutes into the game, Jose Arlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Salim Adas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Arlo in the 83rd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Salim Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Arlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Adas having to make a save. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Albuquerque in the 93rd minute of play. De Boedo Vengo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
