When Ireno Helo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDU Católica's protests and gave Ireno Helo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CDU Católica getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ireno Helo hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Lucas Remigio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leonardo Gartzea fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La France FC's protests and gave Leonardo Gartzea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La France FC's Leonardo Gartzea got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of CDU Católica booed when La France FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, CDU Católica's Emmanuel Ferreiro tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Cleto Peru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CDU Católica's Sebastián Arcangel. Sebastián Arcangel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Espínola's late challenge caught a La France FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Espínola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CDU Católica's Rafael Espínola got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Lucas Remigio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Arcangel. CDU Católica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Remigio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Oyarzabal was the one to do the kick off. Placido Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Oyarzabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes La France FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Remigio. La France FC's Placido Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Oyarzabal in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La France FC's Leonardo Gartzea got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes La France FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Peru. Jonathan Oyarzabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, Jose Ramon Delpiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CDU Católica and the La France FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Jose Ramon Delpiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La France FC's Dani Amato managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmanuel Ferreiro in the 67 minute of the game. Sebastián Arcangel made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Lucas Remigio sent off a good shot on target. After 72 played minutes La France FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Orlandus. Cirilo Ranolfo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Emmanuel Ferreiro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Ferreiro couldn't finish the play. Sebastián Arcangel made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lucas Remigio sent off a good shot on target. When Lucas Remigio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Lucas Remigio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Cirilo Ranolfo put in a rough tackle. A collision led to La France FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cirilo Ranolfo hit a great ball. Emmanuel Ferreiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Placido Mercurio. La France FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Placido Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Oyarzabal in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La France FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
