Hipólito Brito had several of the Maritza's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Anko Gebrev as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipólito Brito in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anko Gebrev saved Maritza from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, José Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anko Gebrev to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Radamel Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anko Gebrev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anko Gebrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Chudomir Múdrov made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuncho Alichkov in the 52nd minute of the match. Radamel Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anko Gebrev having to interfere. Maritza's Anko Gebrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipólito Brito in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, José Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anko Gebrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Isidoro Figueiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuncho Alichkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZEZOM TEAM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isidoro Figueiras made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Radul Prokopiev sent off a good shot on target. Anko Gebrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipólito Brito in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Hipólito Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anko Gebrev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Ricardo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuncho Alichkov hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to ZEZOM TEAM getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Radamel Falcão hit a great ball. Isidoro Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chudomir Múdrov in the 81st minute of play. ZEZOM TEAM's Radamel Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Seabra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Hipólito Brito notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Maritza's Anko Gebrev. Anko Gebrev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maritza's Anko Gebrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipólito Brito in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Veliko Lanzhev. After a rather tough play, ZEZOM TEAM's Radamel Falcão got a free kick in the 90th minute. ZEZOM TEAM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
