Petrică Scutaru charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrică Scutaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mete Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Chihaia in the 21st minute of the match. Mete Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Olimpiu Popan made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Mete Ferro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olimpiu Popan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, New England Minas's Mete Ferro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olimpiu Popan. Olimpiu Popan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cory Kirkland in the 29th minute of play forced Pardina's goalkeeper Olimpiu Popan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the game Valentin Hăulică made a throw-in which Vintilă Mihuț played forward. 36 minutes into the match, Pardina's goalkeeper Olimpiu Popan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Ferro. After 46 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Esparza. Ilie Stătescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Markusson. New England Minas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vintilă Mihuț to make the kick off. Vintilă Mihuț hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mete Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Olimpiu Popan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scottie Ciauri charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Scottie Ciauri got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute, Mete Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 66 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Mete Ferro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olimpiu Popan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Olimpiu Popan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Pardina getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vintilă Mihuț hit a great ball. Olimpiu Popan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mete Ferro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the game, Mete Ferro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Olimpiu Popan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pardina's Olimpiu Popan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Ferro in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Mete Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
