Dimosthenis Mallios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 5th minute, Ademar Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Tadeu Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimosthenis Mallios skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Masses in the 9th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Mallios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Hélder Maciel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Dimosthenis Mallios. Dimosthenis Mallios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to OSASCO FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tadeu Amaral hit a great ball. Dimosthenis Mallios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Maciel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Dimosthenis Mallios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Masses in the 22nd minute of play. Dimosthenis Mallios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, OSASCO FC's Hélder Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimosthenis Mallios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 42nd minute, Cafu Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OSASCO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paris Georgatos was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimosthenis Mallios having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Maciel in the 53rd minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Mallios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Dimosthenis Mallios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Maciel in the 54th minute of play. Eugenio Gimenez took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimosthenis Mallios. Dimosthenis Mallios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. A collision led to ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ntinos Tarsinos hit a great ball. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Dimosthenis Mallios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β from getting a goal against them. When %teams%'s Hélder Maciel was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-6 just inside the left pole, 65 minutes into the game. Dimosthenis Mallios was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. When Cafu Borges came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the OSASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Borges couldn't finish the play. Dimosthenis Mallios came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by OSASCO FC's Hélder Maciel. But to his dismay, Hélder Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Dimosthenis Mallios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 82nd play minutes Hélder Maciel shot 1-9, a short shot which went by Dimosthenis Mallios and just under the crossbar into goal. If Cafu Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimosthenis Mallios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cafu Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimosthenis Mallios having to interfere. OSASCO FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
