Juvenal Netto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sofoklis Patsavouras. MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 10 in the game by Franklin Araújo from a close distance when the talented Sofoklis Patsavouras managed to make a qualified save. MELATES F.C.'s players were relieved. Franklin Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christos Papakostopoulos took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Quadros. Wesley Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Franklin Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Sofoklis Patsavouras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wesley Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Stafilas in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, MELATES F.C.'s Sofoklis Patsavouras got control of the ball when Franklin Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Franklin Araújo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Akis Stafilas was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Belmiro Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofoklis Patsavouras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vrasidas Plousis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franklin Araújo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofoklis Patsavouras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to MELATES F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dorotheos Delioridis hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Frank Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Patsavouras having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Araújo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofoklis Patsavouras saved MELATES F.C. from getting behind. Ramón Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Franklin Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Patsavouras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sofoklis Patsavouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabinho Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute.
