The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cosme Sansone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristi Miheș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Cristi Miheș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Abaunza in the 20th minute of the match. Amado Artal made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. 23 minutes into the game, Amado Artal threw the ball into play from the sideline.
