An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Koehler in the 27th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Alfredo Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chorroarín getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gavino Vergaray hit a great ball. Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alfredo Montae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Émeric Giraudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Aziz Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysse Houssais in the 43rd minute of the match. Christophe Régnault kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Bishen Quattrocchi's late challenge caught a Chorroarín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bishen Quattrocchi helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Tours Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chorroarín:s goal. Tours Football Club:s Vlad Joldea showed great skill when he stopped Florencio Rodriguez:s penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Émeric Giraudo was the one to do the kick off. There was no doubt that Tours Football Club were the better team. Tours Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
