The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Ege Vecih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Vergaray. AC Pitt Bier's Ege Vecih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save AC Pitt Bier from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Hieronim Literski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Montae was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Albert Heebels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alfredo Montae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Chorroarín's Gavino Vergaray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ege Vecih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ege Vecih made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gavino Vergaray sent off a good shot on target. Gavino Vergaray took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ege Vecih. Ege Vecih dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 35th minute Damien van Putten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Montae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Heebels, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Heebels in the 39th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Alfredo Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, AC Pitt Bier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien van Putten to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Chorroarín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Roderigo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hieronim Literski to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignat Dichkov during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Godofredo Gilen was slow to take the kick. During this time Chorroarín's players had a chance to rest. Chorroarín's Godofredo Gilen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ege Vecih in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 70 minutes AC Pitt Bier's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godofredo Gilen who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Chorroarín's corner Godofredo Gilen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ege Vecih quite easily take care of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's Tiburcio Iztal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ege Vecih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eriberto Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Pitt Bier made a substitution. Pascall de Vries replaced Damien van Putten. AC Pitt Bier's Geert Kremer was substituted for Sipke Breinburg. Joost Crans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Alfredo Montae made a huge save. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Geert Kremer hit a great ball. Ege Vecih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Iztal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ege Vecih. AC Pitt Bier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Iztal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 95th minute Tiburcio Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ege Vecih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Pitt Bier's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
