An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 6th minute of play forced Balavanis's goalkeeper Petre Baicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petre Baicea came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by GREEK ARMY's Vassilis Lazarakis. But to his dismay, Vassilis Lazarakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goalkeeper Petre Baicea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigoris Karagiotakis. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Grigoris Karagiotakis took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Petre Baicea to make any attempt to save it. Alkis Kalaboukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Apostolescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Toader Arotăriței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkis Kalaboukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Balavanis got a freekick which was hit by Shkëlzen Ibrahimi. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balavanis's goalkeeper Petre Baicea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petre Baicea. Petre Baicea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gigel Crăciun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balavanis's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Crăciun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkis Kalaboukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugurel Apostolescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toader Arotăriței to strike the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Lazarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Petre Baicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vassilis Lazarakis took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petre Baicea. Petre Baicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 67th minute, Stamatis Zindros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mevlüt Uğurata kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Petre Baicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Lazarakis in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Spyros Paterakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GREEK ARMY and the Balavanis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Balavanis's Toader Arotăriței ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alkis Kalaboukas. Alkis Kalaboukas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. In the 83rd minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petre Baicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Vassilis Lazarakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Baicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Arotăriței came free, but Alkis Kalaboukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Toader Arotăriței reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alkis Kalaboukas. The goal made the score 5-3. The GREEK ARMY support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
