FC Germania München's Gordon Schmedemann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC Germania München from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, İbrahim Ethem Afgan managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1930 Bafraspor's supporters rose to their feet, but İbrahim Ethem Afgan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Schmedemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Batshuayi in the 9th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Gordon Schmedemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th play minute Mitch Batshuayi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gordon Schmedemann. 1-0. In the 18th minute, Victor Nelsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Germania München's Gordon Schmedemann didn't even have to move. Thomas Blome hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Germania München's goalkeeper Gordon Schmedemann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aktan Uçman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. İbrahim Ethem Afgan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Gordon Schmedemann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zeki Akgüneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Bork, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th match minute, FC Germania München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmar Fritze to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Batshuayi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gordon Schmedemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lazarus Oster fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Germania München's protests and gave Lazarus Oster a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 1930 Bafraspor booed when FC Germania München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazarus Oster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Schmedemann was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Ahmet Çağrı Ziver capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Çağrı Ziver really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Jütte in the 41st minute of play forced 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Zeki Akgüneş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İbrahim Ethem Afgan didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 43rd minute. 1930 Bafraspor's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! FC Germania München's Gordon Schmedemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Batshuayi in the 48th minute of play.

FC Germania München's Atze Iraschko was substituted for Isaak Michalke. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Batshuayi to make the kick off. Mitch Batshuayi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gordon Schmedemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Germania München getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jörg Bork hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Mitch Batshuayi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gordon Schmedemann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Frederik Kropp took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Zeki Akgüneş to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Batshuayi in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Gordon Schmedemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Schmedemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Afgan in the 75th minute of play. Lazarus Oster kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 1930 Bafraspor's Fikret Nesim was substituted for Çağatay Sehim. In the 81st match minute, FC Germania München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazarus Oster to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Schmedemann came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by 1930 Bafraspor's Barış Alpermann. But to his dismay, Barış Alpermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 90 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Batshuayi came free, but Gordon Schmedemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Germania München's Benjamin Jütte got a free kick in the 96th minute.
