In the 13th minute Folke Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Uğuray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kurdish Warriors's Edward Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdish Warriors from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Abbas Mahşer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edward Johansson. The goal made the score 1-0. Berkem Safvetullah scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edward Johansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
