Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Vicente Peixoto's late challenge caught a Kerkyra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Varela was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alekos Chatzakis. 6 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Clemente Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demis Krommidas. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Afonsinho Castro hit a great ball. Vicente Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theocharis Pouliadis having to interfere. Alfredo Loyola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Loyola. Kerkyra FC's Alekos Chatzakis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alekos Chatzakis got free with Clemente Varela in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Maragozis came free, but Clemente Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Demis Krommidas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Varela. MarquinhosEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demis Krommidas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Clemente Varela was a little too slow when Kostas Kazakopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Clemente Varela was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Kostas Kazakopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kostas Kazakopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to Kerkyra FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fanis Nioras hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Zé Carlos Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theocharis Pouliadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos Barbosa to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Afonsinho Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Carlos Barbosa succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 60th minute Fanis Nioras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Kazakopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Kostas Kazakopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Demis Krommidas came free, but Clemente Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Boldrini hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes, Kerkyra FC's Alekos Chatzakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Varela came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kerkyra FC reached it. Clemente Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Kazakopoulos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Alekos Chatzakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Boldrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demis Krommidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Varela came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Giorgos Maragozis. But to his dismay, Giorgos Maragozis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kerkyra FC had played much better football throughout.
